Bodycam Sets New Concurrent Player Record Without Advertising

Bodycam has set a new concurrent player record on Steam, with nearly 33,000 players simultaneously launching the ultra-realistic shooter following major update 0.8.7.

The developers of Bodycam have released the Locked and Loaded update, which significantly changes the game. It improves graphics, spatial audio with sound wave propagation, gameplay, performance, and stability.

Players received the update with enthusiasm. 87% of recent reviews on Steam are positive, and on September 2 Bodycam reached a record of nearly 33,000 concurrent players. For the niche realistic shooter genre, this is a major result. For comparison, Hell Let Loose Vietnam debuted on Steam last month with a concurrent player count of around 30,000.

Bodycam is also among the top five best-selling games on Steam. At the same time, the developers emphasize that they achieved this result without spending money on marketing. According to them, the gameplay itself promotes the game. Reissad Studio published Bodycam independently.
