Blizzard Hasn’t Forgotten Diablo 3 — 37th Season “Forbidden Archives” Announced
Developers continue to launch seasons that reuse previously released content.
Diablo 3’s developers have revealed Season 37, titled “Forbidden Archives.” It will revisit Season 20, giving players the opportunity to claim several legacy rewards.
Throughout Season 37, additional legendary properties in Kanai’s Cube will no longer be restricted to specific equipment categories. Where a player normally could apply only one weapon property, one armor property, and one jewelry property, those limits are removed. You could equip two weapon properties and one armor property, or activate the power of three amulets at once.
This season will bring back rewards first introduced in Seasons 13 and 25. Players will be able to obtain the helm and pauldrons from the exclusive Conqueror set, Empire-style portrait frames, and the “Blaine’s Teddy” companion.
By completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the seasonal journey, players can earn a total of three Hedrig’s Gifts, each containing several items from a class-specific set.
Season 37 of Diablo 3 is scheduled to launch on December 5, 2025.
