Battlefield 6 Updates “Conquest” Mode and Gives Away a Weapon Skin

An opportunity has appeared to expand your collection of weapon skins.

Recently, the Battlefield 6 development team announced a change to Conquest (also called “Capture”) mode. The update increases the number of tickets (team points).

From now on, Conquest matches will grant each team 1,200 points instead of 1,000:

[…] we adjusted the core rule set to further emphasize the importance of capturing objectives, ensuring that controlling more points than the enemy has a meaningful impact. These changes have had a positive effect, and we’re already seeing more instances where teams that fell behind early still manage to win. However, matches have also been ending sooner than intended. To address this, we’re increasing the total ticket count to preserve match length while keeping the focus on objective control.

A community member using the handle eraguthorak pointed out that when one side controls the majority of objectives, the opposing team’s tickets now drop much faster:

Previously, if your team held the majority of objectives, the enemy’s score decreased by one point every 5 seconds. After the recent update, that rate changed to one point every 2 seconds (more than twice as fast). That’s why Conquest matches have been ending in 10–15 minutes instead of around 20.

The Battlefield 6 team also announced a new promotion: logging into BF6 or the REDSEC battle royale will reward players with the “Lethal Force” skin for the M2010 ESR rifle.
