The franchise’s latest installment failed to satisfy a sizeable portion of players.
Battlefield 6 was released recently, including its PC launch on Steam. While many players have praised the game, negative reviews also appear — not everyone is happy with the progression system, and some have raised concerns about the developers’ creative direction and the overall quality of the campaign.
Valve has published statistics on support requests, and the chart shows a sharp increase in contacts on October 10 — the game’s release day — and on the following day.
- October 9 — 273,010 requests
- October 10 — 358,279
- October 11 — 386,378
These figures include refund requests (the majority), inquiries about purchases and payments, account security and recovery issues, as well as items classified under “Steam and game technical support.”
A larger spike in requests at the end of September and the start of October coincided with the launch of the seasonal sale.
