Baldur’s Gate 3 Gets 35th Hotfix with Improvements for Steam Deck, NVIDIA GPUs and More
Larian continues to address bugs found across platforms and to improve the game’s overall stability.
The developers of Baldur’s Gate 3 issued Hotfix 35 in November. It contains several technical adjustments aimed at preventing crashes and resolving a freeze on PlayStation 5.
- The “Native Build” on Steam Deck now defaults to FSR 2.2 upscaling instead of FSR 1.
- Fixed an issue where external controllers would stop responding with the “Native Build” on Steam Deck after switching to the desktop or returning to gaming mode.
- Reduced “Native Build” load times on Steam Deck in certain situations.
- Fixed a launch crash on Steam Deck that occurred when the “EN” locale was missing.
- Improved VRAM utilization on NVIDIA GPUs.
- Resolved a freeze on PlayStation 5 that occurred when pressing the L2 button.
- Various crash fixes affecting multiplayer, the crafting system, and cross-play (Xbox, Mac, Steam Deck).
