Arcade Sandbox The Coin Game Exits Early Access and Arrives on Consoles in 2026
After nearly seven years in early access, The Coin Game is preparing for a full release.
Publisher Kwalee and developer devotid have announced that the arcade adventure The Coin Game will exit early access and launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in early 2026.
The project began in February 2019 and has since received numerous updates, expanded with fresh content, and earned a 95% positive rating on Steam.
The Coin Game is an open-ended sandbox set on an amusement island: players roam themed areas, try out mini-games, collect tickets, and exchange them for prizes.
The title offers two distinct modes. In Survivor Mode you must manage stamina, health, and finances, scavenge for food, and take on side jobs. In Birthday Mode you can simply relax on the island with unlimited money and unrestricted access to all the machines.
The exact release date and the full list of additions coming in version 1.0 have not yet been disclosed.
