ARC Raiders Run on a Graphics Card Priced the Same as the Game — Surprising Results

RandomGamingHD published a benchmark of ARC Raiders running on a budget graphics card. The creator used a 4 GB Radeon R9 380X, which cost roughly $41.

The minimum requirements specify the more capable Radeon RX 580. The rest of the test rig was unrestricted: the evaluation ran on an Intel i5-12400F with 32 GB of RAM.

Warnings appeared immediately: AMD has discontinued support for this GPU, and on startup the game reported outdated drivers and a configuration mismatch. After dismissing the alerts, ARC Raiders launched without issues.

Testing was carried out in Full HD at low settings. With native rendering (no upscaling) the game averaged 50.6 FPS, dipped to 39.9 FPS at the lows, and climbed to 70 FPS in indoor scenes. Upscaling improved the outcome — TAAU at 70% render resolution delivered an average of 67 FPS and raised minimums to 52.7 FPS.
