Arc Raiders Developers Release Teaser for Frozen Trail Major Update

An extended showcase of the update will be held soon.

The team at Embark Studios has started teasing a presentation for the next update for Arc Raiders. According to the developers, the Frozen Trail update will be the largest in the project’s history.

Several months ago, Embark Studios announced a change to the support model for Arc Raiders. The developers decided to shift from monthly updates to releasing two major updates per year. Frozen Trail will be the first such major update following the change in their approach to working on the game.

Previously, the creators of Arc Raiders published a developer diary dedicated to the Frozen Trail update. At the time, they shared that the game will add a new map, allowing players to explore a snowy settlement located at the foot of high mountains. The update is also expected to introduce new ARC robots, a certain “operation” for experienced players (details have not yet been disclosed), and deeper progression systems featuring adjustments to the skill tree alongside “outposts” that players can decorate.

The release of the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for October 8, 2026.
