Many of the game’s technical issues will be fixed.

Publisher SNEG recently reminded players about the classic Dungeons & Dragons title. A Steam page has appeared for Greyhawk: The Temple of Elemental Evil (2003).

This refreshed edition was created through the efforts of the modding communities Circle of Eight and Temple+.

It revives the classic D&D adventure for modern audiences, offering more than a thousand fixes and upgrades — from enhanced stability and smarter AI to smoother performance, a polished interface, and a host of small quality-of-life improvements that make the game more enjoyable.

The plot opens when bandits begin to trouble a peaceful region, and famed adventurers are sent to deal with them. It soon becomes apparent this is only one of the threats — the ruins of an ancient temple devoted to evil have reopened.

The Temple of Elemental Evil is scheduled to launch on Steam on December 10, 2025.
