In her quest to find him, she enlists the help of Charles Darnay (François Civil), a French émigré wrongfully imprisoned on charges of treason. His fate rests in the hands of the eccentric lawyer Sydney Carton (Harington), and soon, Lucie finds herself caught in a complex love triangle involving both men.

The television adaptation was penned by Daniel West (“Top Boy,” “Gunpowder”) and directed by Richard R. Clark (“Doctor Who”). The complete season of “A Tale of Two Cities” is currently streaming on viju.
