Spider-Man: Brand New Day Grosses $2.5 Billion
The comic book adaptation “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has officially surpassed $2.5 billion in total global box office receipts. This achievement secures its place as the third highest-grossing film in cinema history, trailing only “Avengers: Endgame” and the original “Avatar.”
Domestic earnings in the U.S. reached $954 million, complemented by an impressive $1.55 billion from international markets, bringing the film’s cumulative total to $2.505 billion. In Russia, despite being released through alternative distribution channels, the movie successfully generated over 2 billion rubles.
Digital audiences can look forward to the film’s online debut on October 6. The fourth installment of the franchise featuring Tom Holland depicts Peter Parker’s intense struggle against a formidable new adversary. The star-studded cast also includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo, with Destin Daniel Cretton serving as director.
