The first season of “Lanterns” has concluded on HBO

The season finale of the superhero series Lanterns is now available for streaming.

This HBO production is rooted in the DC Comics lore surrounding the Green Lantern Corps. Debuting in August, the narrative follows two intergalactic peacekeepers, Hal Jordan and John Stewart, as they investigate a cryptic murder in Nebraska. Their inquiry soon uncovers a conspiracy involving far more formidable extraterrestrial entities.

The series features an ensemble cast including Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, and Kelly Macdonald. Co-created by Damon Lindelof (known for Lost and Watchmen), the show has earned significant critical acclaim, currently holding a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 72 out of 100 on Metacritic. As of now, HBO has yet to formally announce a second season for Lanterns.
