Zero Parades: For Dead Spies to Launch on Xbox Series X|S With Expanded Edition in November
Versions for Switch 2 and PS5 were announced earlier.
Studio ZA/UM has announced that its spy role-playing game ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies will launch on Xbox Series X|S on November 3 alongside an expanded Director’s Cut edition. A release on Microsoft consoles was not originally planned. The updated version will arrive at the same time on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, and PC players will get it as a free update.
The Director’s Cut significantly expands the original game. It adds more than 40,000 words to the story, improves the voice acting, reworks some interface and inventory elements, and adds new death screens.
One of the main additions is a Backstage mode. In it, players can collect in-game collectibles and listen to developer commentary on how the project was made. Players can also look through the different stages of the game’s development.
The edition also adds a new dramatic scene at the Quisach Roundabout location, where the protagonist, Hershel, faces a situation that touches on existential themes. Other announced improvements include support for ultrawide displays.
