Yura Borisov to star in Salma Hayek’s directorial debut
Academy Award nominee Yura Borisov (Anora) and Cara Delevingne are set to headline “Arena,” the feature directorial debut from actress Salma Hayek, as reported by Variety.
Currently in production in Mexico, the film is described as an epic tale of forbidden love. Hayek also penned the screenplay for the project. The production features a distinguished crew, with Philippe Le Sourd (Priscilla, The Grandmaster) serving as cinematographer and Angelina Jolie attached as a producer.
This autumn, audiences will see Borisov in major features such as Planet Nine and Motor City. Additionally, he is slated to appear in the Hollywood biopic Artificial, a film centered on the life of ChatGPT creator Sam Altman, before the end of the year.
