Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the celebrated Soulslike action title from Team Ninja—the masterminds behind the iconic Nioh series—continues to captivate players with its visceral combat set against the backdrop of China’s Three Kingdoms period. While anticipation is already building for the newly announced sequel, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, players have an exciting opportunity to experience the original journey on the go. The definitive Complete Edition is officially making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 this September.

Since its initial release on consoles and PC in 2023, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has become a massive success, drawing in over 5 million players. The Complete Edition arrives on Switch 2 on September 3, bundling the core experience with all three major expansions—Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdon, and Upheaval in Jingxiang—alongside a wealth of endgame content.

Furthermore, the update introduces new weapon classes, including versatile whips, long swords, and cestuses, significantly deepening the tactical combat options.

Team Ninja has also packed this edition with substantial enhancements, including increased difficulty tiers, diverse new stages, additional Divine Beasts, and expanded gameplay challenges. Fans can look forward to integrating iconic equipment and stages from crossover events, including Lies of P, Naraka: Bladepoint, and Nioh 2. The Switch 2 version also includes the original launch day armor sets (Baihu, Zhuque, and Qinglong) alongside an exclusive, platform-specific bonus: the Xuanwu Armor set.
