Where to Find a Bouquet in Mina the Hollower

Lifting the spirits of the despondent woman you find in Mina the Hollower by delivering a bouquet is one of the game’s earliest side quests. While it’s accessible early on, the solution is a bit cryptic, requiring some clever environmental puzzle-solving and strategic navigation. It is well worth the effort, however, as your reward is a highly practical trinket that can prove essential during challenging boss encounters.

Below, we break down where to locate the bouquet in Mina the Hollower and the steps required to deliver it to Roma, the lonely woman seeking comfort.

Locating the Bouquet

Roma can be found weeping on a bench near the river in eastern Ossex. While you might spot a flower pot perched atop the roof of the “kear enthusiast’s” home, there is no conventional path to reach it. Instead, you’ll need to manipulate the environment using a local NPC.

Seek out Furl, a purple, masked character found wandering just above and to the right of the garment shop in eastern Ossex. To reach the rooftop, position yourself to the right of Furl and strike him. This forces him to reveal his long, coiled nose, which acts as a bridge to the building on the left. Simply walk across his nose to reach the roof. If you accidentally hit him while he’s out of position, just wait for him to stroll near the table and chair before trying again.

Once you are on the roof, burrow underground directly beneath the flower pot to claim it. After surfacing with the item in hand, drop down from the edge of the roof to return to ground level.

Your final objective is to guide Furl to the grassy bank directly across the river from Roma. You may need to clear the path using a kear, and you can nudge Furl in the right direction by physically bumping into him. Once he is standing at the water’s edge, toss the flower pot toward him. Though the pot will shatter, Furl will catch the bouquet and, inspired by the gesture, use his nose to deliver the flowers to Roma. This reunites them and grants you the Valor Medallion.

The Valor Medallion is a powerful utility item; it allows you to maintain mobility while consuming a Plasma Vial for healing, and it prevents you from losing precious plasma if you happen to take damage during the process.
