Teaser Trailer Released for Spice and Wolf Continuation

The continuation of the new light novel adaptation by Isuna Hasekura will premiere in 2027.

The first teaser trailer for the second season of the anime Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf has been released. Holo and Lawrence will continue their journey north to the wise wolf’s homeland. Along the way, they will stop in the town of Lenos, which preserves legends of Holo, and meet a mysterious merchant named Eva Bolan. She will offer Lawrence a risky deal involving fur trading, and a previously released poster hinted that the characters will face betrayal.

Studio Passione is working on the continuation. Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro Majima are serving as directors, while Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei, who directed the first season, will supervise the production. Kevin Penkin is returning to compose the music.

The continuation will premiere in 2027, though an exact release date has not been announced yet.
