Water-Based City-Building Simulator Flotsam to Exit Early Access After Six Years
Flotsam will leave early access and will be released in its full version for PC on Steam and GOG on December 5, 2025, the publisher Stray Fawn Publishing and developer Pajama Llama Games announced.
The game entered early access on September 26, 2019.
The Steam page states:
Survive, traverse an endless sea of debris, and rescue survivors in this striking floating city-building simulator. Lead drifters, explore submerged ruins, visit corroded factories, and uncover the histories of the old world.
Players will transform ocean waste into houses, workshops, and gardens, desalinate water, fish, and fortify shelters. The game promises exploration of a flooded world, rescuing survivors and animals, a variety of technologies, and city development. Each drifter has a unique story, and specialists will unlock new buildings, tasks, and abilities.
