Warbands: Bushido to Be Removed from Steam — Digital Tabletop Wargame to Shut Down Soon
The game’s service era is drawing to a close.
The developers of Warbands: Bushido have recently announced that they will be shutting down the servers:
[…] Monetization was recently turned off in the game. Many had guessed the reason, and yes — after nearly ten years we’ll need to take the servers offline. Thank you to everyone who played over the years. It’s heartening to know so many players are still fighting in Warbands, even though we haven’t released updates for a long time.
The project was presented as an authentic tabletop, turn-based wargame with cards, miniatures, and dice.
Warbands: Bushido’s page on Valve is available via the following link. The game can be added to your library for free, and Steam trading cards are available.
