Want to Buy DLC for Gran Turismo 7? A Moment’s Inattention Could Cost You Dearly
Several Gran Turismo 7 owners have fallen victim to an expensive mix-up. Instead of purchasing the Power Pack DLC, they bought a 5-million-credit bundle. Both items cost $24.99, and that identical price is what caused the confusion.
The DLC from Polyphony Digital launched on December 4, 2025. It adds new cars, tracks, and 50 races across 20 categories. Posts from frustrated players began appearing on Reddit; they say the credits bundle is displayed more prominently in the PS Store than the DLC itself, which misled buyers.
On the Super GT channel (see 11:35), you can watch a user rush, skip the description, and select the credits bundle instead of the DLC.
Some players managed to obtain refunds through customer support — simply call or submit a form and provide your purchase details.
If you plan to buy the Power Pack, double-check the screen carefully to avoid inadvertently buying the credits bundle at the DLC’s price.
