Voice Actors for Bayek and Aya Return to Studio as Players Await Assassin’s Creed: Origins Sequel
The actors who voiced Bayek and Aya were seen together in a studio equipped for motion capture. That sighting ignited speculation they might be working on something connected to Assassin’s Creed Origins — possibly a sequel. The actor had previously expressed a desire to reprise the role for a follow-up.
Since Assassin’s Creed shifted toward an RPG format, fans have debated which entry best captures the genre’s strengths. Many believe the systems in Origins remain the most refined.
Bayek and Aya’s story arc is widely regarded as one of the franchise’s most compelling, and although their narrative concludes in Origins, there are numerous avenues left to explore — from the characters’ earlier years to events that occur after the game’s ending.
In a recent social post, Abubakar Salim — the voice of Bayek — shared a selfie with Alix Wilton Regan. All signs suggest they are collaborating on a project related to the game.
Previously, Abubakar voiced interest in returning to the character for an Origins sequel. He mentioned sending Bayek to Greece, although that could be complicated since Odyssey is already set there. The actor also operates his own studio, so their joint work might be for a standalone project — concrete details are still unavailable.
