Dazzling Decorations brings new accessories for Ditto and their Poképals. The selection includes bows inspired by Sylveon and sunglasses that give Squirtle a chance to revisit its Squirtle Squad look.

The expansion also introduces more Pokémon to befriend, including Doduo, Braixen, and Skitty, with additional creatures yet to be revealed.

Before starting the new content, players must complete several quests: “Raise the environment level!,” “Rebuild the Pokémon Center!,” and Drifloon’s “Find a doll!” request.

What else comes with the Expansion Pass?

The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass consists of three parts. The first, Bubbly Basin, launched on August 5, 2026, adding an underwater region and 52 Pokémon with aquatic themes. Not all of them are Water types, however; Malamar is among the newcomers.

The third part is scheduled for 2027 and will introduce another town, potentially offering an adventure on a similar scale to Bubbly Basin.

The Expansion Pass costs $34.99 and includes a recipe for dynamic print blocks and wallpapers featuring Ditto’s face. Buyers also receive a code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots.

How was Pokémon Pokopia received?

Pokémon Pokopia launched for Nintendo Switch 2 in March 2026 to a warm reception. The life simulation game earned a Metacritic score of 89 and had sold more than 5 million copies by August, demonstrating the enduring appeal of Pokémon across genres.
