Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition Gets an Unofficial Android Port
Developer nicolasspaiva has released an unofficial Android port of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, based on the game’s Xbox 360 version from Devil May Cry HD Collection.
The port includes touch controls with customizable on-screen button placement, gamepad support, and the ability to transfer saves between compatible versions of the game. The developer tested it on a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, where it ran steadily at 60 FPS.
Running the port requires Android 11 or later, a 64-bit ARM processor, OpenGL ES 3.0 support, and files from the user’s own Xbox 360 copy of HD Collection.

The original Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening was released for PlayStation 2 in 2005. A prequel to the first game, it follows Dante’s confrontation with his brother Vergil. The 2006 Special Edition made Vergil playable and added Bloody Palace mode and additional difficulty settings.
