Vampire Survivors to Get New DLC Next Week with New Characters, Weapons, and a Huge Map
Developer poncle has shared details on the upcoming Legacy of the Bloodmoon expansion for Vampire Survivors and confirmed that it launches on August 28 across PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
The DLC introduces 12 playable characters, over 16 weapons including their evolutions, and a large new stage called Red Moon Manor. According to the lore, the fortress once belonged to the Order of the Red Moon, established by Saint Baal’Tasar after he experienced a vision of a paradise granting eternal life. Baal’Tasar vanished during a pilgrimage, causing the order to splinter into rival sects. The Blood Moon clan now sets out to follow his trail and uncover his fate.
The playable roster features cult leader Malis Bloodmoon, Calogero Bloodmoon wielding a giant axe, and Baal’Tasar himself. Other additions include Ashtarta, who can inhabit old bones, and King Sargon, who is trapped in a hellish dimension.
Legacy of the Bloodmoon also brings eight new music tracks and will cost $0.99. Alongside the release, poncle will lower the price of the Legacy of the Moonspell expansion to $0.99.
