Unreleased Steam Game About Mobile Predator Fortresses Wins Pre-Release Award and Releases Demo

Wanderburg has attracted a lot of attention.

Developer Randwerk and publisher Sidekick Publishing participated in Gamescom, bringing Wanderburg as they prepare to release the game soon on PC via Steam.

Wanderburg received the “Most Entertaining” award.

From a gameplay perspective, it is a minimalist roguelike set in a medieval world where mobile fortresses of various shapes and sizes move across the land and can devour one another:

Castles hunt, villages run. And in the end, only the most massive stronghold survives. What starts as a humble castle on wheels turns with each run into a growing, all-consuming siege machine that alters the battlefield.

Players will roll forward and absorb other fortresses. The arsenal will gradually expand with the ability to install cannons, wizard towers, and more. Between runs, players will be able to unlock modules and vehicles.
