Two more original “The Mummy” actors to return for the fourth film
Deadline has confirmed that two additional cast members from the original “The Mummy” will be joining the upcoming fourth film. The sequel’s ensemble is growing to include both Kevin J. O’Connor and Oded Fehr.
O’Connor is set to reprise his role as Beni Gabor, the opportunistic French Legionnaire who served the Egyptian high priest Imhotep. Fehr will return as Ardeth Bay, the stoic leader of the Medjai. They join a star-studded lineup that already features Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, and John Hannah, alongside new additions Michael Johnston (known for “Obsession”) and “Young Sherlock” actor Numan Acar.
Directing duties for “The Mummy 4” have been handed to Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the creative duo behind “Ready or Not” and the recent “Scream” films. Universal is scheduled to release the feature in U.S. theaters on October 15, 2027.
