Two Double Fine Games and Six Other Titles Leaving Xbox Game Pass
Microsoft plans to remove at least eight games from Xbox Game Pass at the end of October 2026, and Day of the Tentacle Remastered is among them. Two of the games come from Double Fine, a studio that became independent from Xbox Game Studios this year.
Players have a couple of weeks to finish the remastered version of the adventure game Day of the Tentacle Remastered. It holds a score of 86 out of 100 on Metacritic and “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam.
Another well-known adventure game, Full Throttle Remastered, will also leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog this month.
There is no information yet about plans to remove other Double Fine games from the subscription, such as Psychonauts or Grim Fandango Remastered.

In addition, the following games are set to leave the Game Pass catalog on October 31, 2026:
- Wildgate: a first-person PvPvE shooter with tactical spaceship combat.
- Dead Static Drive: a survival horror game about a “nightmarish journey across 1980s America.”
- Deep Rock Galactic: a first-person co-op shooter about space dwarves.
- Wartales: a medieval open-world role-playing game about a band of mercenaries.
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: a LEGO adaptation of the Star Wars franchise story.
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris: an isometric action game about a tomb raider’s adventures, with co-op support.
