GTA V Remake of the GTA VI Trailer Released, With a Stand-In for Lucia

A user going by GearOS Play’s has remade the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer in GTA V. The adapted shower scene looks less cinematic than the original.

Rockstar Games recently published the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI. While many players study the new footage, GearOS Play’s decided to recreate it in GTA V.

He rebuilt the key scenes with the tools available to him, and in places the result feels authentic. Michael’s wife, Amanda De Santa, plays the role of Lucia Caminos in his version. In one car scene, players can see her deep neckline, which Lucia does not have in the original trailer.

GearOS Play’s also published a side-by-side comparison of the original GTA VI trailer and his version with GTA V characters. He tried to recreate the intimate shower scene, but it came out less cinematic than the one with Jason and Lucia. The model of Michael’s wife behaves a bit strangely, and she stands in a towel at that moment.

The project is interesting for more than its creativity. Videos like this clearly show the progress in graphics.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
