Game Freak Winds Down Beast of Reincarnation Support With One Major Patch Left
The developers are winding down active development. After the final patch, the studio will handle only critical fixes.
Game Freak is ending major updates for Beast of Reincarnation. The patch scheduled for October 19 will be the last one under the game’s regular support, though the studio will keep fixing critical bugs.
The developers said this does not mean they are abandoning the project entirely. If serious bugs or technical problems turn up, the team is ready to release the necessary fixes. Players are asked to report issues through customer support.
Beast of Reincarnation launched on August 4, 2026, on PC and consoles. It marked a new chapter for Game Freak, previously known mainly for the Pokémon franchise. The game received mixed reviews, with a Metacritic average of 71/100 from critics and 6.2 from users.
The final major patch closes the game’s planned period of active development. The studio has not yet revealed what it will contain.
