Where to Find Shroud Mushrooms in Enshrouded

Shroud mushrooms are a valuable crafting material in Enshrouded, yet they can be surprisingly elusive. The trick is to look upward rather than at the ground. The charming, multicolored button mushrooms that sprout in ordinary forests won’t give you any. One more tip: pack an axe.

Below, you’ll learn how to identify them and where to find shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded.

Where to find shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded

Shroud mushrooms are found only in the Revelwood region, and, true to their name, they appear solely within shrouded zones. An excellent spot to harvest them lies southeast of the Ancient Spire in Revelwood. Glide down and land in the Shroud south of Gloomsbury Keep, which makes for a fairly safe foraging area.

Should enemies overwhelm you, or your time in the Shroud be nearly up, head along the path to the southwest to get out. The arrow on the map above marks the Shroud’s exit.

Shroud mushrooms resemble oversized versions of ordinary mushrooms. They typically grow in clusters of one to three stalks and give off a soft green glow beneath their caps. Chop them down with an axe, and each one will drop between five and 12 shroud mushroom pieces.

Your freshly gathered haul can be used to craft goo, alchemical base, and a number of armor pieces, among other things. Keep in mind that shroud mushrooms are strictly a crafting material rather than a cooking ingredient, so they can’t be eaten.
