Fling Up Together demo adds proximity chat, skins and hidden collectibles
OFF BOX Studios has updated the free Fling Up Together demo for Steam Next Fest, running October 19–26. The two-player physics platformer now includes proximity voice chat, character skins, emotes, treasure chests and collectible bugs.
The game ties two climbers to one rope as they cross floating islands, ruins and bridges. Either player can pull or fling their partner, and a fall costs the team progress.
Colour-coded platforms add another coordination problem: each climber can stand only on platforms matching their colour. Hidden chests and bugs encourage detours from the main climbing route.
The studio has not announced a full release date in this update. A trailer shows the rope mechanics and climbing environments.
