Trailer Released for Cyberpunk 2077’s 5th Anniversary — Sequel’s Game Director Addresses Players
Over the years, the game has received numerous patches and fixes.
In December, fans and CD Projekt RED celebrated the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077. The studio released a special trailer to mark the occasion.
Paweł Sasko, Cyberpunk 2077’s quest director and the game director for the sequel, addressed the players:
Hello, choombas. Today marks five years since Cyberpunk 2077’s release, and I’m grateful to each of you. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be part of this community — I adore the art, videos, cosplay, and mods you’ve made for Cyberpunk 2077. It has truly been an amazing adventure.
I’m especially thankful to everyone who played the game after the Phantom Liberty expansion, the 2.0 update, and all the subsequent updates we shipped. It’s been a wonderful journey. I hope you enjoyed the stories we shared, our characters, and this incredible world.
I feel truly fortunate to be part of this community, to have had the opportunity to work on this game, and to have added something meaningful to your lives. Thank you so much, my friends, for being with us over these five years. Don’t forget Night City.
