TNT Begins Production of Comedy Series “Conscience Be Damned!”

TNT has officially commenced production on a new comedy series titled “We Pave with Conscience!” Filming is currently underway in the Kaluga region under the direction of Alexander Turkin.

The narrative follows two students from a highway engineering institute who are sent to a remote corner of Russia for their internship on a road construction site. Starring Anton Rogachev and Filipp Ershov, the protagonists are polar opposites: one relies on his father’s wealth and influence, while the other is an earnest overachiever who believes every problem can be solved by the book.

However, the realities of the construction site quickly dismantle their preconceived notions. Instead of flawless plans and theoretical calculations, the young apprentices face severe resource shortages, a demanding foreman, and a relentless series of unforeseen crises. As they adapt to this challenging environment, they must learn the value of teamwork, accept their failures, and navigate highly unpredictable circumstances.

The creators describe the show as a comedy about life in the Russian provinces, where the daily grind of construction meets the nuances of local character. Blending authentic regional flair with a unique sense of humor and complex workplace dynamics, the series revolves around the ironic motto: “We pave with conscience!”—a phrase that takes on multiple meanings for the characters throughout their journey.
