The Wolf Among Us 2 Delayed to 2027; Original Game Remaster Arriving This Holiday

After a prolonged period of silence since 2024, Bigby Wolf has finally re-emerged. During today’s Summer Game Fest presentation, fans received a long-awaited update: The Wolf Among Us 2 is officially slated for a 2027 release. Furthermore, players can look forward to a remastered version of the original cult classic arriving later this holiday season.

The journey to this sequel has been nothing short of turbulent. Originally debuting as an episodic series in 2013, the franchise saw its follow-up teased as early as 2019. Between Telltale Games’ high-profile closure, subsequent rebirth, and shifting development oversight, the project faced numerous hurdles. Thankfully, the pieces have finally fallen into place for a launch next year.
