Arc Raiders Battle Pass Rewards and Credit System Details Revealed

In the old system, players received rewards much too quickly.

Embark Studios is preparing the major Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders. The game creators decided to phase out the in-game currency known as credits and add a full battle pass.

The developers of Arc Raiders explained that while the old Raider Decks provided a great starting point, over time they noticed problems within the created system:

Players accumulated credits so quickly that it became difficult to keep up. When a new Raider Deck came out, many players could complete it immediately thanks to their accumulated credits. Because of this, rewards felt much less… rewarding. This also left very little motivation to keep completing challenges.

This system is evolving into the Reward Pass battle pass. The developers want to offer a more engaging character progression path designed to extend gameplay. The pass will feature 60 tiers and, as in other games, will launch in two versions.

The free pass will include basic outfits, cosmetic items, weapons, gadgets, items, and 200 Raider Tokens.

The premium version of the pass offers additional rewards and a total of 1150 Raider Tokens, but contains no gameplay-affecting items such as weapons or gadgets. The premium pass itself can be purchased for 1150 Raider Tokens, meaning completing it earns enough currency to buy the next one.

Rewards from the current Raider Decks will not disappear. All decks will be combined into a single free Legacy Reward Pass, allowing players to obtain rewards if they have not yet done so in the old system.

The Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for release on October 8, 2026. The Frozen Trail Collector Set add-on will be released on the same day.
