CD Projekt RED is showcasing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered to attendees at an exhibition in Cologne, with early impressions highlighting the title’s performance on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Polish Nintendo creator Pankubaka played the game at the Cologne event and reported that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered runs at 60 frames per second on the Nintendo Switch 2. CD Projekt RED has not officially detailed the graphics modes or performance targets yet, though early player reports indicate that the studio focused on visual upgrades alongside stable frame rates.

The remaster includes more than just higher resolution. The developers overhauled the combat mechanics and Roach controls, while adding a new skill tree, transmogrification, an expanded photo mode, new finishers, and revised enemy behavior. The update also refreshes the user interface, animations, item looting, and Witcher signs.

Owners of the original release on eligible platforms will receive the Remastered edition for free. This offer extends to players who own The Witcher 3 on the original Nintendo Switch, enabling them to upgrade to the native Switch 2 version.
