“The Last Warrior: Kolobok” Sets Summer Box Office Record
The fantasy blockbuster “The Last Warrior: Kolobok” has achieved the highest second-weekend box office performance of any Russian film released this summer, grossing 192.7 million rubles according to the Unified Automated Information System (UAIS).
To date, the film has surpassed 600 million rubles in total revenue, drawing an audience of over 1.4 million viewers. Premiering in early August with a production budget of 1 billion rubles, the story follows the adventurous journey of Kolobok as he flees his creators and forms an unexpected bond with a baker named Tikhon in the magical land of Belogorye.
The film features performances by Dmitry Zhuravlev, Garik Kharlamov, Mila Ershova, Tatyana Dogileva, and others. It was directed by Anton Maslov, known for his work on “The Last Warrior: Legacy.”
