“The Last Bogatyr: The Gingerbread Man” Grosses One Billion Rubles at the Russian Box Office
The fantasy blockbuster “The Last Warrior: The Gingerbread Man” has officially surpassed the 1 billion ruble mark in domestic box office revenue, according to data from the Unified Automated Information System (UAIS).
It took just over a month for the film to reach this milestone, following its theatrical release on August 6th. The production budget for the movie was estimated at 1 billion rubles.
The story follows the arrival of the Gingerbread Man (voiced by Garik Kharlamov) in the enchanted realm of Belogorye and his fateful encounter with a baker named Tikhon (Dmitry Zhuravlev). The film also features performances by Gosha Kutsenko, Mila Ershova, Tatyana Dogileva, and others. The project was helmed by director Anton Maslov, known for “The Last Warrior: Legacy.”
