The final season of Stranger Things has arrived on Netflix. The first four episodes are already available to stream.

Netflix has released the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The initial four episodes are currently streaming, while the remaining installments are scheduled for release on December 26, 2025 (three episodes) and January 1, 2026 (the series finale). The concluding season is divided into three volumes and will reach its end on New Year’s night.

Returning to their roles are Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp and others. New cast members include Nell Fisher, Jake Connolly and Linda Hamilton.

In this season the characters confront the malign forces from the Upside Down once more, with stakes higher than ever. The decisive conflict unfolds in Hawkins, which is reeling from the aftermath of a destructive rift between worlds. According to the creators, the season is action-packed from the outset while remaining true to the spirit of the original — centering on the core characters and themes of friendship, coming of age and sacrifice.

Matt and Ross Duffer say the final season provides a coherent conclusion to the decade-long saga and will not leave loose narrative threads.
