Bethesda’s blockbuster continues to arrive on new hardware.

In December, Bethesda announced a native release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The Anniversary Edition bundles Creation Club additions, including new questlines, equipment, and a fishing system.

The developers highlighted several technical enhancements:

  • Higher output resolution and DLSS support
  • Performance optimizations and faster load times
  • Support for Joy-Con pointer/mouse-style controls
  • Amiibo compatibility

Players who bought The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on the original Nintendo Switch will receive the Switch 2 version as a free upgrade; owners of the standard edition can purchase the upgrade for $20.
