The Division 2 sets new Steam player record after three years as franchise approaches 10th anniversary
Ubisoft has ambitious long-term goals for the franchise.
Ubisoft recently unveiled a major new expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Beyond this paid content, the development team has pledged to maintain a consistent schedule of free updates for the community.
A significant Steam sale, offering deep discounts of up to 90%, has revitalized interest in the title. As a result, The Division 2 reached a new milestone, with its peak concurrent player count soaring past the 16,000 mark.
The last time Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 saw engagement levels this high was in June of the previous year, when the player base peaked at nearly 15,000 concurrent users.
