The 20th Century Studios fashion-comedy saga, The Devil Wears Prada, has officially surpassed $1 billion in total global box office revenue.
The original cinematic hit premiered in 2006, grossing $326.5 million. Its long-awaited sequel, released in May 2026, secured an impressive $676 million against a production and marketing budget of $180 million.
The films feature an iconic ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. Both installments, directed by David Frankel, explore the cutthroat world of high fashion and the demanding environment of Runway magazine, helmed by the formidable Miranda Priestly. The series is adapted from Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel.
