Techland has revealed a long-term support plan for Dying Light: The Beast — a new entry in the series that began as DLC for Dying Light 2 and has since become a standalone title. The developers say players can expect plenty of content in the months ahead.
The studio announced an 11-week post-launch roadmap that will introduce new missions, content, and features. The global event “Call of the Beast” launched on October 16, 2025 and will run through January 4, 2026. Every Thursday, fresh challenges and rewards will be added to the game.
Throughout the event, players worldwide will work toward shared objectives that require coordination and persistence. Participation grants unique rewards — from rare weapons to exclusive vehicle skins. If the community completes at least 17 of the 22 tasks, all participants will receive a legendary reward; if they complete 20 challenges, every player who joined at least once will get additional bonuses.
Techland is also preparing a series of updates to enhance replayability and the endgame: New Game+ mode, Legend tiers, a new difficulty level, plus new executions and finishers. On the technical side, PC ray-tracing support is planned, and there will be a crossover with PUBG Mobile.
