Survival Horror Game Inspired by The Maze Runner Released on Steam

Players in Inferno Protocol face various dangers.

In late August, studio Tektonic Interactive announced the release of the survival horror game Inferno Protocol on PC via Steam. The project launched in early access.

The concept of the game is reminiscent of The Maze Runner franchise, as events unfold within a massive labyrinth. Players can set out alone or in co-op to search for resources to craft gear and survive:

The maze is constantly changing. Corridors give way to forests, deserts, and frozen halls—places that should not exist underground. Others were here before you. Notes scratched out, warnings, sketches on the walls—mostly traces of panic, but some things can be useful. Some point to exits or to things you should not approach.

In the current version of Inferno Protocol, the map is “already large” and features three labyrinth levels (biomes): the Junkyard, the Jungle, and the Swamp. The creators plan to add several more biomes in the future, each with its own enemies, mechanics, and weapons.

The Steam page for Inferno Protocol is available at the following link. Developers from Tektonic Interactive believe that their project will spend 9 to 12 months in early access, though this timeframe may be adjusted depending on player feedback.
