ETS2 Nordic Horizons: Community Spotlight and Map

The Woven Wonders of Winterland event has returned to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Players can transport supplies and gift packs to and from Christmas Winterland until January 11 at 23:59 UTC.

Local traffic now appears in festive paint schemes along the roads. Additionally, a new Winterland Desktop Background Theme is available.

Christmas Winterland Directions

To reach Winterland, accept event cargo bound for the location and navigate to the portal marked by sparkles on the map. Leaving Winterland with cargo takes drivers to its destination, while leaving without cargo sends players to a random city for a new job.

Event Rules

Participants must use External Contracts with a World of Trucks-connected profile in either game or both combined. Deliveries run to and from five specific Winterland depots:

• Christmas Market: A town square market
• Marigold’s: A chocolate factory
• Northstar: A post office
• Rudolph’s Crafts: An arts workshop
• Snowy Peaks: A mountain resort market

The personal goal requires completing 15 deliveries, including at least one delivery to or from each of the five depots.

The community goal is to reach 1,000 total Snowflakes across all trucking territories. Snowflakes are awarded to cities that complete deliveries to or from Winterland. Every 1,000 deliveries between a specific city and Winterland grants that city 1 Snowflake, up to a maximum of 5 Snowflakes per city across 5 tiers of 200 Snowflakes each.

Players can track community progress on World of Trucks or through the updated External Contracts interface in the game.

Rewards

• Personal: Completing 15 or more deliveries grants a World of Trucks Achievement, the Winter Woollies truck paint job, and a collection of 6 festive exterior cab lighting accessories compatible with top-tier trucks from all brands.
• Community: Reaching each of the 5 tiers unlocks a special cabin item reward based on the Winterland depots for both games.

Developers will host a livestream on Tuesday, December 16, from 18:00 CET on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook to discuss the event’s creation and contribute to the community goal. An annual Christmas Stream featuring Pavel Šebor follows on December 18 from 18:00 CET across the same platforms.
