Spider-Man: A New Day has climbed to second place on the all-time North American box office chart after surpassing Avengers: Endgame.

As of August 28, the Tom Holland-led blockbuster has grossed approximately $866.5 million across the United States and Canada, moving past the $858.3 million domestic total of Avengers: Endgame. Only Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains ahead with $936.7 million, leaving the superhero film roughly $70.2 million short of the all-time domestic record.

The film retains strong momentum as its theatrical run continues. Projections for its fifth weekend range from $18 million to $25 million, which would secure another first-place finish. The extended US Labor Day holiday weekend is also expected to deliver an additional lift.

Worldwide box office earnings for Spider-Man: A New Day have now reached $2.23 billion. The movie has already outgrossed the global total of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and is closing in on the top five highest-grossing releases in history. It sits just over $30 million behind Titanic, which stands at approximately $2.26 billion including lifetime re-releases.
