“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” Grosses $1 Billion

The Sony and Marvel blockbuster “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has officially crossed the $1 billion threshold at the global box office, reaching a total of $1.052 billion. The film achieved this milestone in just six days, marking the second-fastest climb in cinematic history, trailing only “Avengers: Endgame.”

Domestically, the movie raked in $407 million—bolstered by a record-breaking $360 million opening weekend—while international markets contributed $645.8 million to the total. This success adds the title to an exclusive list of 2026 billion-dollar grossers, which already includes “The Super Mario Bros. Galactic Movie,” “Michael,” and “Toy Story 5.”

In Russia, audiences can expect to see “Brand New Day” via parallel distribution no sooner than August 20, following the theatrical premiere of the fantasy feature “The Last Bogatyr: Kolobok.”
