Small Indie “RV There Yet?” Tops All of Microsoft’s 2025 Games on Steam in Online Players
RV There Yet? has proven that an indie with an original concept can surpass major releases. Quietly developed by the small studio Nuggets Entertainment, the title posted astonishing numbers in just a few days.
The team spent more than a year on Among The Wild, where players run a farm of magical creatures. Before that they released their second “secret” project — RV There Yet? — a playful co-op about friends on a family RV trip into the mountains, recalling the minimalist charm of Peak and other casual online titles.
The game debuted on October 21, 2025, and has already drawn over 100,000 concurrent players, nearly matching the combined peak of all Microsoft releases on Steam in 2025. RV There Yet? continues the recent streak of indie hits such as Peak, Absolum, Megabonk, and Ball x Pit.
Steam launch statistics compared to Xbox Game Studio releases:
- RV There Yet? — 100,002
- Avowed — 19,198
- South of Midnight — 1,438
- Grounded 2 — 49,836
- Gears of War: Reloaded — 4,819
- Ara History Untold: Anniversary Edition — 4,262
- Keeper — 191
- Ninja Gaiden 4 — 11,217
- The Outer Worlds 2 (Premium Edition) — 9,431
This is further evidence that small projects with heart and a focused vision can outperform big-budget AAA games.
