“Sinners” dominated its categories, securing trophies for Best Compilation Soundtrack and Best Score Soundtrack, the latter composed by Ludwig Göransson. These accolades follow the film’s historic run during awards season, where it previously garnered a record-breaking 16 Oscar nominations.
Steven Spielberg earned his Grammy as a producer for the documentary “Music by John Williams.” The legendary director and the iconic composer have a storied history, having collaborated on 30 projects, including the highly anticipated upcoming blockbuster “Event Horizon.” With this latest honor, Spielberg has officially attained the prestigious EGOT status, joining the elite ranks of performers and creators who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.
