«The Bunker» starring Bardem and Cruz to be released in Russia
Exponenta Film, the distributor behind *Obsession*, has officially announced that the gripping drama *The Bunker* will hit Russian theaters. The film is an official selection in the main competition at the 2026 Venice Film Festival.
The lead roles are portrayed by Academy Award winners Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz. The project is directed and written by Florian Zeller, renowned for his work on *The Father*.
The narrative follows Antonio, a distinguished architect commissioned to design a bunker for a prominent tech mogul and billionaire. His wife, Sofia, is deeply unsettled by the project, and their concerns escalate when the couple realizes they are being watched.
The supporting cast includes Stephen Graham, Paul Dano, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. A definitive release date for Russia will be confirmed in the near future. The first official teaser for *The Bunker* is now available to watch.
